Description
A large 36 x 48 x 1.5 inches original landscape oil painting, The style is art deco, art nouveau, expressionist and semi abstract and shows a group of deer appearing in an autumn forest. I have painted this stag and three doe's many times now and they have become very real and yet remain distant. They promise revelation but it remain elusive - hence the title. The scene has the feel of a woodland forest with autumn colours and is very vibrant. It is on deep edge canvas, edges white, frame not needed.
