Description
A 36 x 48 x 1.5 inches original oil painting of two blue tits in a Spring wood. The background is abstract in style and hints at trees loaded with Spring blossom whilst on the forest floor are luminous beautiful blues of all shades that hint at bluebells. A path leads through the trees and emerges into a bright sunlight clearing. The whole background has been blurred to look out of focus and is shimmering with very vibrant colours. The blue tits (British woodland and garden birds) are painted in a sharp and fairly realistic style which contrasts well against the blended trees. I am pleased with the whole effect as I have been practicing it for quite while now! The painting is on deep edge canvas with the edges painted to match. No frame is needed.
