A 36 x 48 x 1.5 inches large original oil painting on canvas. A field of red poppies, slightly abstract in style, reach up sinuously towards the sky contrasting noticeably against the green trees behind them. There is a triangular gap in the trees at the back of the meadow where the out of focus figure of a deer stands waiting. He knows something important and invites you to follow. This is celebration of Summer and the mad enthusiasm of flowers in summer meadows and the animals that take care of them.
